Quality Control in Custom Apparel Manufacturing | INFULLSAIL
Quality Control in Custom Apparel Manufacturing
Quality is decided at specific stages, not inspected in at the end. Every order at INFULLSAIL passes four checkpoints, and the sample you approved in writing stays the reference the whole way through.

The Four Checkpoints
Cutting is checked first: panel dimensions against the approved size set, fabric faults marked before the panels leave the table, and shade grouping confirmed so one garment is not built from two visibly different rolls.
Sewing is checked on the line rather than only at the end, because a corrected seam costs minutes while a corrected bulk run costs weeks. Construction points such as pocket alignment, zip insertion and ribbing tension are measured against the sample rather than judged by eye.
Finishing covers the steps that change the surface of the garment: washing, distressing, coating or embroidery. This is where a batch is compared against the approved standard for shade and effect, since a wash that drifts is not something a final inspection can fix.
Packing is the last checkpoint: labelling, hangtags, folding and carton counts are confirmed against the specification you approved, so the goods can go straight into your own distribution without a second pass.
Why the Approved Sample Matters
A sample is not a marketing photo. Once you approve it in writing, it becomes the physical definition of the order: fabric, measurements, tolerances, decoration placement and finish. When a question comes up during production, the answer is the sample rather than a memory of a conversation.
This is also what makes a reorder repeatable. Reorders carry the same minimum as the first order, and the specification, size set and wash recipe kept on file are what allow the second run to match the first.

What You Can Ask For
You can ask what is checked at each stage and who signs it off, and you can ask for that in writing before production starts. Where a third-party inspection is required, it is arranged with your nominated inspector and confirmed with the order.
We hold BSCI social compliance certification, and material certifications such as OEKO-TEX are confirmed per project at quotation stage for the specific fabrics a style uses.
Putting It to Work on Your Order
The practical benefit is fewer surprises and a faster reorder cycle. If a size run drifts, it is caught at cutting rather than after packing. If a wash shifts, it is caught at finishing rather than in your warehouse.
Send us your specification or tech pack and we will confirm the checkpoints that apply to your styles, along with sampling and bulk timings. We reply to inquiries within one working day.

Minimums and Timelines
Our standard minimum is 100 pieces per style, per color, with sizes mixable inside one colourway and each colour treated as its own order. Sampling typically takes around two weeks and is quoted separately and upfront; it may be credited against the bulk order only where the bulk quantity is large enough.
Bulk production typically takes three to four weeks after the sample is approved, and reorders carry the same minimum. Shipping by sea, air or land is quoted as its own line, so the transit cost is visible before the goods are finished.
