Home / Design and Development Service for Apparel Brands | INFULLSAIL
Not every brand arrives with a completed tech pack. Development work turns a reference, a sketch or a sample into a specification a factory can sample and produce against, and that work is where most launch risk is removed.

Development covers fabrics and weights, trims and hardware, measurements and grading, decoration placement, and the finishing route. Each of those decisions is recorded in a written specification so the sample and the bulk run are measured against the same document.
Where a brand has no pattern of its own, an existing style can be used as a starting point and adapted: fit, fabric, colour, decoration and finish are adjusted to the brand rather than copied wholesale.
A reference image or a sample you own, the quantity you expect to sell per colour, the fabric direction if you have one, and a realistic drop date are enough to begin. The specification is then developed with you rather than handed over complete.
Knowing the colour count early matters most, because the standard minimum of 100 pieces per style, per color applies to each colour group rather than to the order as a whole.

Sampling typically takes around two weeks and is charged separately and quoted upfront. If a design needs more than one round, that is normal for a first collection and is agreed before it starts rather than discovered during it.
Once the sample is approved in writing, bulk production typically takes three to four weeks. Keeping the approved sample and the specification on file is what makes a reorder repeatable at the same minimum.
If the specific design is the reason customers buy from you, own-design development is worth the extra round. If speed to market matters more, starting from an adapted style gets a range to a selling season faster.
Tell us what stage you are at, and we will say plainly what can be developed for your budget and what should wait for the second drop.

Our standard minimum is 100 pieces per style, per color, with sizes mixable inside one colourway and each colour treated as its own order. Sampling typically takes around two weeks and is quoted separately and upfront; it may be credited against the bulk order only where the bulk quantity is large enough.
Bulk production typically takes three to four weeks after the sample is approved, and reorders carry the same minimum. Shipping by sea, air or land is quoted as its own line, so the transit cost is visible before the goods are finished.
