How long we keep your patterns

We keep your patterns and specifications so that reorders match the original. How long they are retained is best agreed in writing for your account, and we are happy to work to a period that fits your own planning.

Keeping the pattern allows a repeat order to be produced without re-developing the fit, which saves time and reduces the risk of small differences appearing between runs.

If you would prefer your files not to be retained, we can return or delete them on request after an order, and the arrangement is confirmed with you rather than assumed.

Where a design is exclusive, retention is tied to your agreement with us, so your material is not used for anyone else.

Tell us your retention preference and we will confirm it in writing.

Digital pattern files and the original specification are kept together, so a future order starts from the same reference and the fit does not drift between runs.

If a fit was updated at any point, tell us before the reorder so the correct version of the pattern is used rather than an earlier one.
