Can you do custom fits such as baggy, skinny, and straight jeans?
Fits such as baggy, skinny and straight
Fits are created by the pattern, so baggy, skinny, straight or relaxed shapes are drafted rather than achieved by adjusting a standard block. That is what allows the rise, the thigh, the knee and the leg opening to be controlled separately.
The practical approach is to agree a reference garment or a specification, then produce a sample so the leg line, the rise and the length can be checked on a body. A fit is easier to judge worn than measured.
Individual measurements matter as much as the overall shape: the knee position and the leg opening often decide how a denim reads, so those points are confirmed with you early.
Because the pattern carries the fit, it is kept with the specification, so a reorder or a new wash repeats the same silhouette rather than introducing a new one.
Send a reference or a written specification and we will confirm the fit approach for your order.
