What do you need from me to start a t-shirts sample — a tech pack or a reference image?

Tech pack versus reference image

Either works. A complete tech pack speeds development, because measurements, materials and construction are defined from the start. If you only have a reference image, a sketch or an existing garment, our team can help define the details before sampling rather than asking you to produce a full specification alone.

A useful tech pack typically includes flat sketches, a size chart with grade rules, material specifications such as fabric type and weight, colour references, construction details for seams and finishes, and artwork files with placement and dimensions for prints or embroidery.

If your documentation is partial, send what you have and note the open points. Usually a short exchange of messages or a call is enough to close the gaps, and we will confirm the final specification in writing before sampling begins.

If helpful, we can also review a competitor garment you admire as a reference, while always producing your own design rather than copying another brand's product.
