Puff and high-density printing

Puff and high-density prints can be produced where the design and the fabric suit them. Puff gives a raised, rounded surface, while high-density gives a sharp, flat build, and both are specialised screen-print techniques rather than standard flat printing.

The result depends on the fabric surface and the artwork: a very fine line or a very detailed graphic behaves differently in high-density than a bold shape does, so the design is reviewed for feasibility before sampling.

Coverage, print size and the number of colours affect cost and production time, so these are confirmed with the quotation rather than assumed from the artwork alone.

As with other prints, the decoration is approved on the sample, so the relief, the edge definition and the colour are checked on the actual garment rather than on a screen.
