Can you produce distressed, ripped, and vintage-wash jeans?

Distressed, ripped and vintage-wash denim

Distressed and ripped effects are created by hand-finishing the garment, so they are a workshop process rather than a print or a pattern change. Vintage-wash looks come from the washing and finishing recipe applied to the fabric.

In practice the reference is the starting point: a photograph or a reference garment is used to agree the position, the amount of wear and the colour, then a sample is produced so the result can be checked before bulk.

Because hand work varies slightly between pieces, consistency is judged against the approved sample, and the range of acceptable variation is agreed with you rather than left open.

Where a distressed look is combined with a wash, the two are developed together, since the wash softens the edges of the effects and changes the final appearance.

Send your reference and your fabric idea and we will confirm what can be achieved for your order.
