Accepted Answer

Pre-production samplesYes. After you approve the development sample, we produce a pre-production sample using the bulk fabric, trims and labels. This step confirms that what arrives for production matches what was approved, including colour, weight, finish and labelling. The pre-production sample then becomes the production standard. During bulk manufacture, garments are checked against it, and it is also the reference for final inspection before packing. Where a brand requires it, the pre-production sample can be shipped to you for physical approval before bulk begins. In practice, this step is what keeps a bulk order predictable: it removes ambiguity about materials and finishing, and it gives both sides a single agreed reference for quality. If you want to keep the pre-production sample for reference, we can ship it before bulk begins, with the courier cost quoted separately.Keeping the approved pre-production sample on file also helps when you scale or repeat the style later, because the reference standard remains available.

Question 2

Accepted Answer

Sample revisionsThe number of included revision rounds depends on the style and on how many changes are requested, so it is confirmed in the sampling quotation rather than assumed. Being explicit about this up front avoids surprises later, when changes can affect both cost and schedule. To keep revisions efficient, send consolidated feedback rather than a series of partial comments: photos, measurements and specific notes are the most useful format. If several details need work, one revised sample that addresses them together is usually faster than multiple round trips.Once the sample is approved, that version becomes the standard for bulk production and final inspection. If a change is required after approval, we will explain the effect on cost and timing before any work continues. If changes are requested after approval, we will explain how they affect cost and timing before production continues, so there is no ambiguity later.Consolidated feedback is the fastest route through revisions, and it also keeps the sample history tidy for reference in future seasons.

Accepted Answer

Sample feesSampling is quoted separately, and the fee is confirmed before development starts. The cost depends on the style, the materials and the work involved, including any pattern development, decoration setup or wash development. Quoting it separately keeps the bulk unit price clean and transparent. If your bulk order qualifies in size, the sample fee can be credited after the bulk order is placed, with the exact terms confirmed in your quotation. Many brands treat the sample fee as a development cost and focus on the bulk unit price and total landed cost when comparing suppliers. For projects with several styles, we quote sampling per style so you can decide which designs to develop first. If budget is limited at the start, we can also begin with one or two styles and add the rest once the first samples are approved. For multi-style collections, we suggest developing samples in the order you intend to sell them, so the styles launching first are approved first. The sample fee is quoted per style and confirmed before work starts, so you can choose which designs to develop first and stage the rest for later.

Accepted Answer

Sample lead timeSample development typically takes about one to two weeks once the design and materials are confirmed. The main variables are the complexity of the style, the availability of the fabric, and the amount of decoration such as printing, embroidery or special washing, since each of those processes adds a development step. Two things speed sampling up. First, complete information: a tech pack, measurements and artwork files let us start without back-and-forth. Second, fabric decisions made early: if the fabric must be sourced or dyed to match, that step sits on the critical path and is worth confirming first. For planning purposes, we recommend allowing a small buffer between sample approval and your launch date, then confirming the production window when the order is placed. If you have a fixed deadline, tell us from the beginning so the schedule can be reviewed realistically. If the sample is needed for a buyer meeting or trade show, mention the date when you start, so the schedule can be planned around it rather than adjusted afterwards.

Accepted Answer

How sampling worksThe sampling process starts with your design, tech pack or reference. We review the style and advise on fabrics and construction, then issue a quotation that includes the sampling fee. Once confirmed, we develop the sample, which typically takes about one to two weeks depending on complexity and fabric availability. You then review the sample for fit, fabric, colour, print, embroidery and finishing. Feedback with photos and measurements helps us revise efficiently, and the number of included revision rounds is confirmed in the sampling quotation so expectations are clear from the start. Once you approve, that sample becomes the production standard.Bulk production follows, usually within about three to four weeks after approval. The approved sample is used for final inspection as well, which is why it is worth taking time at this stage: decisions made here determine how the bulk order turns out.If your timeline is tight, tell us at the start: sampling can sometimes be prioritised, but only if the fabric and artwork are ready when development begins.

Question 6

Accepted Answer

Woven patches and rubber badgesYes. We can add woven patches, rubber or silicone badges, embroidered patches and chenille letters. These are common in streetwear because they add texture and dimensionality that printing alone cannot achieve, and they can be applied to garments, caps and bags.Design preparation matters for a clean result. For badges, supply artwork with clear shapes and, where text is included, sufficient size for the lettering to remain legible. We will advise on the appropriate backing, edge finish and application method for your fabric so the badge sits flat and stays secure through washing and wear.Application methods and any tooling requirements are confirmed during development, and the finished badge is approved on your sample. Where durability is critical, we will recommend the method that best suits your garment's care instructions. If you want to compare options, we can produce a sample set with two or three badge variants so you can judge them on the actual garment fabric.

Accepted Answer

Custom hardwareYes. We produce custom zippers and pulls, buttons, snaps, eyelets and drawcords, subject to availability, and we confirm the details in the quotation. Hardware is often what gives a streetwear piece its character, so it is worth treating as part of the design rather than an afterthought. Two practical points apply. First, tooling: fully custom metal pieces may require tooling and a minimum order, and we will tell you before you commit where that applies. Second, performance: hardware must suit the fabric and the garment's use, for example a zip weight appropriate to a heavy jacket versus a lightweight shirt.Hardware samples are reviewed during the sampling stage, where you can check finish, colour, weight and function. The approved items are then documented in the specification so bulk production matches exactly. If custom hardware is planned across several styles, consolidating it into one specification reduces tooling requirements and improves consistency between products.

Question 8

Accepted Answer

Replicating an existing sampleYes. Send us the sample itself, or detailed photographs with measurements and construction notes, and we will develop a counter-sample for your approval. Replication is common when a brand moves production between suppliers or wants to reproduce a bestseller with new branding. For a reliable match, we examine fabric composition and weight, the pattern and seam structure, the wash or finish, and all trims such as zippers, buttons, labels and any decoration. Where the original material is not obtainable, we propose the closest available alternative and explain the difference so you can judge whether it is acceptable. The counter-sample is then compared against the original, and any remaining differences are agreed before bulk production. Where a measurement tolerance is needed, we define it in writing so the finished order can be checked against the same standard. If the original garment is a bestseller and must remain identical, we recommend keeping the same fabric source where possible, since changing the mill can subtly change hand feel.

Question 9

Accepted Answer

Number of colours in one designThe number of colours you can use depends on the decoration method. Screen printing uses a separate screen for each colour, so it suits designs with a limited palette and delivers strong, durable results at volume. DTG and DTF reproduce full-colour artwork, including gradients and photographic detail, which is why they are common for complex graphics.Cost is affected by the choice: with screen printing, each additional colour adds setup and a screen, while digital methods have different cost structures that suit smaller runs and detailed artwork. Embroidered elements are counted differently again, since stitch count and thread colours matter more than print colours. Our team will review your artwork and recommend the most suitable method and colour approach for your design, fabric and quantity. The result is validated on the sample, where you can check colour accuracy, placement and finish before bulk production. If the artwork is still evolving, choose the method first and confirm final colours at the sample stage, which avoids resetting print setup more than necessary.

Accepted Answer

Washed, vintage and distressed finishesYes. We produce garment dye, enzyme wash, stone wash, acid wash, distressing and sun-faded finishes, which are central to vintage and streetwear looks. Wash development is a technical process rather than a simple colour choice, because the result depends on the base fabric, the recipe, the machine process and the level of distressing requested.Because of that, the wash is developed and approved on your sample first. The approved sample becomes the reference for the bulk order, so the effect stays consistent across the production run instead of drifting between batches. Where a look is difficult to reproduce exactly by nature, we will say so in advance and agree a realistic tolerance with you. When discussing a wash, it helps to share reference images and describe the intensity you want, for example a light vintage fade compared with heavy distressing. We will explain how each option affects the fabric, cost and production planning before you commit.

Accepted Answer

Embroidery and printing togetherYes. We provide flat embroidery, three-dimensional puff embroidery and embroidered patches, and we frequently combine embroidery with printing on the same garment. Combining techniques is common in streetwear, for example a large printed graphic with an embroidered logo, or a puff-printed slogan with a woven patch. The design decision is usually about emphasis: embroidery adds texture and a premium feel, while printing handles detail and full-colour artwork. Our team will advise on which elements suit embroidery versus print, and on placement and sizing so the finished piece looks deliberate rather than crowded. For embroidery we recommend vector artwork such as AI, EPS or PDF, or a high-resolution PNG. Very small text and fine lines may need adjustment to stitch cleanly, and we flag this during review rather than after sampling. Complexity and stitch count affect cost, and the details are confirmed in the quotation. On caps and bags, embroidery placement often needs adjustment to sit correctly on curved or structured surfaces, and we will advise on the artwork at the development stage.

Question 12

We offer screen printing, direct-to-garment (DTG), DTF and puff printing. Screen printing delivers strong, durable results at volume and suits bold

Accepted Answer

Printing methods availableWe offer screen printing, direct-to-garment (DTG), DTF and puff printing. Screen printing delivers strong, durable results at volume and suits bold graphic designs with a limited colour palette. DTG handles detailed, full-colour artwork and works well for smaller runs. DTF transfers perform across a wide range of fabrics and colours, and puff printing adds a raised, three-dimensional effect popular in streetwear.Choosing the right method depends on three things: your artwork detail, the fabric you have chosen, and the order quantity. A photographic design needs a different process from a two-colour logo, and a heavyweight fleece hoodie performs differently from a lightweight cotton tee.Print results are always validated on the sample before bulk production, where you can check colour, placement, size and hand feel. If durability is a priority, tell us and we will recommend the method and ink system that best match your market's expectations. If you are unsure which method suits your artwork, send the file and the fabric choice and we will compare two options with cost and durability notes before sampling.

Question 13

Accepted Answer

Labels, tags and packagingYes. We produce woven neck labels, printed labels, size labels, care labels, hang tags, polybags, boxes and custom packaging, all carrying your own branding. This is part of the standard private label process and is planned together with the garment rather than added at the end.Two details matter in practice. First, artwork: supply your logo in vector or high-resolution format, and confirm label wording and dimensions. Second, compliance: some markets require specific care, composition or origin wording, and if those requirements exist for your destination, share them so the labels can be prepared correctly the first time.Labels, tags and packaging are checked against the approved sample during production and again before packing. Custom items such as branded boxes or printed polybags may add a small amount of production and quality control time, which we confirm in the quotation. If branding is not finalised, tell us the planned label sizes and positions so the garment can be developed with the right allowances for labels and tags.

Accepted Answer

Colour consistency in bulk ordersColour consistency is controlled through three steps. First, lab dips: dye samples are prepared and approved for each colour before bulk fabric is produced. Second, dye lot control: cutting is planned so a single garment colour comes from the same fabric lot wherever possible. Third, in-production checks: fabric and finished pieces are compared against the approved standard during production. For brands with tight colour requirements, we recommend approving a shade band rather than a single point, since it defines the acceptable range for production tolerances. This reduces the risk of rejecting an entire shipment over a difference that is visually negligible. The approved sample remains the reference throughout. If a colour is critical to your range, tell us at the development stage so the fabric, dye process and inspection steps can be planned around it rather than adjusted later. For multi-colour ranges, we recommend approving all colours in one round so the relationship between shades is judged together rather than colour by colour.

Question 15

Accepted Answer

Heavyweight fabrics for premium streetwearYes. Heavyweight options across jersey, fleece, French terry, denim and canvas are part of our standard sourcing, which is why styles such as heavyweight t-shirts, oversized hoodies and structured workwear jackets are routine for us rather than exceptions. Premium streetwear usually depends on that weight and structure.Weight also changes the production details. Heavier fabrics require appropriate needles, thread and machine settings, and can influence seam construction, hem finishes and how a garment drapes after washing. Because these details are handled during sampling, the finished piece reflects the intended hand feel rather than an approximation. If you have a reference garment, send it or describe the hand feel you want. We will propose two or three weights with swatches, and the final choice is approved on your sample before bulk production begins. If the reference garment is no longer available, a photograph with notes on weight and hand feel is usually enough for us to shortlist comparable options.

Question 16

Accepted Answer

Matching a fabric swatchYes. Send us a swatch and we will match it as closely as possible in composition, weight, colour and finish. If the exact fabric is not available, we will propose the nearest alternatives and explain the differences so you can decide what is acceptable.Where colour is critical, the match is handled through a lab dip: the mill prepares a small dye sample for your approval before bulk fabric is produced. This step is standard practice for brands with tight colour standards, and it is far cheaper than discovering a shade difference after the order is cut.The final confirmation always happens on the garment sample. Swatches show the fabric in a small format; the sample shows how it drapes, how it behaves when sewn, and how the colour reads on a finished piece. Approving the sample closes the loop between the reference and the production order. If you are matching a colour rather than a fabric, send a physical colour reference too, since screen colours and photographs shift between devices.

Accepted Answer

Fabric shrinkage after washingShrinkage is managed by choosing pre-shrunk or washed fabrics and by testing the result, rather than by quoting a single figure in advance. The actual rate depends on the fibre, the construction, the dyeing and finishing process, and how the garment is laundered by the end customer. This is why we validate shrinkage on your sample. Where shrinkage is a concern, we include a wash test so the behaviour of the specific fabric is measured before bulk production. If a requirement exists, for example a maximum shrinkage for your market or a specific care instruction, tell us during development and we will work to it.We also recommend passing the validated care instructions to your customers, since washing temperature and drying method influence shrinkage in real use. Documenting that on your care label is the simplest way to protect the garment after it leaves the factory. For garments where shrinkage is critical, we can test after several wash cycles rather than one, so the result reflects real customer use rather than a single cycle.

Question 18

Accepted Answer

Sustainable and recycled fabricsWe can source organic, recycled and lower-impact fabrics when they are available for your project, including organic cotton, recycled polyester blends and options produced with lower-impact dyeing or finishing. Availability varies by weight, colour and season, so we confirm options for your specific design rather than promising a fixed catalogue. If sustainability claims matter for your market, tell us at the quotation stage. Some certifications and documentation requirements take time to arrange, and they may also influence which mills and fabrics are suitable. Flagging this early lets us propose realistic options and confirm what can be documented. As a practical approach, we recommend shortlisting two fabrics: one that fully meets your sustainability requirement and one closest alternative in case the first is unavailable at the needed weight or colour. We will show swatches and confirm the final option on your sample.Where certification is required, please allow additional lead time in the schedule, since documentation is usually arranged by the mill rather than by the garment factory.

Question 19

Yes. We can source or develop specific blends such as cotton-poly, French terry, brushed fleece, twill, canvas and denim, as well as technical blen

Accepted Answer

Sourcing specific fabric blendsYes. We can source or develop specific blends such as cotton-poly, French terry, brushed fleece, twill, canvas and denim, as well as technical blends for sport-influenced styles. If your design depends on a particular composition or finish, we will check availability with our fabric suppliers before sampling.Sourcing works in two ways. Where a fabric is a standard item, we confirm the available colours, weights and lead time directly. Where the composition is custom or the colour must match a specific reference, the mill may require a minimum order and additional lead time, and we will tell you that before you commit rather than after. The usual sequence is: you describe the requirement, we propose options with samples or swatches, you shortlist, and the final choice is approved on the garment sample. That way the fabric is validated for weight, colour and behaviour in production, not only in a swatch book.If the composition is commercially sensitive, we can work under an NDA arranged before sampling, so your fabric requirement stays confidential between your brand and our team.

Question 20

For streetwear, brands usually choose heavier fabrics because they hold their shape, drape with more structure and carry prints and embroidery well

Accepted Answer

Fabric weight (GSM) recommendationsFor streetwear, brands usually choose heavier fabrics because they hold their shape, drape with more structure and carry prints and embroidery well. The right weight still depends on the garment: a t-shirt that feels substantial is different from a hoodie that needs warmth and body, and a summer short needs a lighter hand than a winter jacket. Two practical considerations shape the decision. First, heavier fabrics generally cost more and can be warmer, so the right choice depends on your market and season rather than on weight alone. Second, weight affects construction: heavier fabric needs appropriate needle, thread and machine settings, which is why experience matters when moving from a mid-weight to a heavy-weight programme. We confirm the recommendation with you during development. Send a reference garment or describe the hand feel you want, and we will shortlist two or three fabric options with swatches. The final weight is approved on the sample, so what you see and feel is what enters bulk production.

Question 21

Accepted Answer

Fabrics availableWe work with a wide range of fabrics for streetwear: cotton and cotton blends, heavyweight jersey, French terry, fleece, denim, twill, canvas, ripstop and nylon, among others. The right choice depends on the garment, the fit you want, the season and your target price point. For classic streetwear pieces, brands often choose heavier cotton for t-shirts and French terry or fleece for hoodies, because those fabrics hold their shape and carry prints and embroidery well. Denim and canvas suit workwear-inspired jackets and pants, while technical fabrics are used for sport-influenced styles.Availability is confirmed during development, and we can propose alternatives when a specific fabric is not obtainable. Where the fabric is critical to the design, we recommend confirming the option with a swatch and then approving it on the sample.Send us your design or a reference garment and we will propose suitable fabric options for your project.A practical approach to fabric decisions: shortlist two or three options with swatches, compare them against your reference for weight, hand feel and colour, and confirm the final choice on the sample. That sequence prevents costly surprises after bulk production has started.

Accepted Answer

L/C and T/TWe work with bank transfer between companies as the standard payment method. Whether a letter of credit is suitable depends on the order size, the destination and the requirements of both companies, so it is assessed case by case and confirmed in the quotation rather than offered as a default. For large orders, payment structure is usually discussed directly with the client, including the deposit, the balance milestone and any documentation the buyer requires, such as inspection records or shipping documents. We prefer to agree these details before production starts so the process runs smoothly. Our aim is a payment arrangement that both sides can rely on, documented in writing in the quotation and order documents.Tell us your preferred payment structure and we will confirm what is possible for your order. If documentation is important on your side, for example an invoice, packing list or inspection record that must accompany payment, include those requirements at the quotation stage. Knowing them early allows the paperwork to be prepared correctly and avoids delays when the goods are ready to ship.

Accepted Answer

Paying after inspectionBalance terms are agreed in the quotation before production. If you plan to inspect the goods before the final payment, tell us early so the payment schedule and the inspection timing are aligned in the order documents from the beginning rather than negotiated at the end.In practice this means agreeing three things in advance: when the inspection will take place, who arranges it, and which payment milestone follows the inspection result. That way there is no ambiguity about when payment falls due and no delay while terms are discussed.Where a third-party inspection is used, we cooperate fully with the inspector and coordinate timing so the check happens before packing and shipping.Mention your inspection plan when you request the quotation and we will structure the payment schedule around it.If you use a third-party inspection, agree the standard in advance, such as the checkpoints and the sampling level, and share it with both the inspector and our team. We coordinate timing so the inspection happens before packing, and inspection records are made available to you with the shipping documents.

Accepted Answer

Deposit requirementsA deposit is commonly required to start production, with the balance due according to the agreed schedule. The exact percentage and the milestone at which the balance falls due are confirmed in your quotation, because they can vary with order size, materials and specifications. The deposit covers the start of production: ordering fabric, scheduling cutting and sewing, and reserving capacity in the production plan. The balance is typically linked to completion or shipment. Where a client arranges inspection before shipment, the payment schedule can be aligned with the inspection date so both sides are protected. We recommend confirming the payment schedule together with pricing and lead time, so the full picture is clear before the order is placed. Any deviation from the agreed schedule is discussed in writing.Ask our team for the payment terms for your specific order and they will be set out clearly in the quotation. It also helps to know what the deposit covers: fabric orders, cutting and sewing scheduling and reserved capacity. If you need to align payment milestones with an inspection or with your own internal approval process, raise it during quotation so the schedule can be adjusted before production starts.

Question 25

Accepted Answer

Payment termsPayment is made by bank transfer between companies. The full schedule is set out in the contract, so both sides know the payment stages before production begins. There are no verbal arrangements: everything relevant to payment is written down.Typical structures involve a deposit to start production and the balance at an agreed milestone, such as before shipment or after inspection. Because terms can vary with order size, specifications and the length of the relationship, the exact schedule is set out in the contract for each order. If your company works with specific internal requirements, such as approval by an inspection report or payment after a shipping document is issued, tell us at the quotation stage so the schedule can be aligned before work starts.Send us your project details and we will include the payment schedule in the quotation for your review. One practical suggestion: confirm the payment schedule at the same time as pricing and lead time, before the order is placed. When all three are documented together, production planning is straightforward and there is no last-minute negotiation.

Accepted Answer

Quotation turnaroundWe aim to respond quickly. Send your design, tech pack or reference together with quantities and your target market, and our team will confirm the quotation timeline in our reply. Where specifications are complete, quotations are usually prepared within a short window; more complex projects may need a little longer if fabrics must be sourced or construction details need clarification. To speed things up, include the essentials in your first message: garment type and style, target quantity per style and colour, fabric preference or reference garment, decoration requirements, labelling and packaging needs, destination country and target delivery date.If some details are not finalised, send what you have. We will indicate which decisions affect cost and lead time most, and often a short call or a few messages is enough to close the gaps before quoting.Contact our team with your project details and we will confirm when you can expect the quotation. If your specifications are incomplete, do not wait: send what you have and note the open points. Our team will tell you which decisions affect cost and timing, and usually a short exchange of messages is enough to confirm the rest before issuing the quotation.

Accepted Answer

Currencies and IncotermsWe normally quote in USD. Accepted Incoterms depend on your destination, your preferred logistics arrangement and the shipping method, so they are confirmed in the quotation rather than assumed. Common options include arrangements where we handle export and freight, and arrangements where your own forwarder collects from the factory. The practical difference matters for cost planning. When we arrange shipping, the quotation includes transport and export documentation; when you use your own forwarder, the quoted price covers the goods and factory-side preparation, and freight is arranged on your side. In both cases we confirm responsibilities in writing so there is no ambiguity. For larger orders, we can also compare shipping methods, for example sea versus air, and show the trade-off between transit time and cost, so you can choose the option that fits your launch schedule.Tell us your destination and preferred terms and we will confirm the quotation structure for your order.

Accepted Answer

Mixed-category ordersYes. We can plan orders that combine different garment categories in one production schedule, for example tees together with hoodies and bottoms. Each style follows its own minimum of 100 pieces per style, per color, and the quotation lists quantities and prices per style so the structure stays transparent.Mixed-category planning is often used by brands releasing a coordinated collection, because it keeps the range coherent and simplifies shipping: garments finished at similar times can be packed and shipped together, which reduces freight costs compared with several separate shipments. If some styles are ready earlier than others, we can also arrange partial shipments so the first styles reach you sooner rather than waiting for the whole order. The schedule is confirmed at quotation stage, based on your quantities and target dates.Send us the full list of styles you are planning and we will confirm how the order can be structured.Where styles share the same fabric and colour, producing them in the same cycle also improves consistency, because the fabric and dye lot are the same. If your collection includes several categories, tell us the full list early so cutting, sewing and finishing can be planned efficiently rather than style by style.

Accepted Answer

Mixing sizes and colorsYes, sizes can be mixed within one colorway to reach the minimum. A single style and colour can be ordered as a spread of sizes, for example S, M, L and XL totalling 100 pieces, which is the usual approach for a first production run.Different colours are treated as separate orders, because our MOQ applies per style, per color, and each colour involves separate fabric or dye lots, cutting and setup. If your size curve is not finalised, send an estimate and we will confirm a workable split before production.A practical planning approach is to weight the first order towards the sizes that sell best in your market, then adjust on reorder based on actual sales data. For colour, many brands start with two or three core colours and add seasonal shades once the style is proven.Share your size and colour plan with our team and we will confirm the details in the quotation. For colour planning, it helps to think in terms of what you can sell rather than what you can order: a strong core colour, one seasonal shade and one accent is a common structure for a first run. Additional colours can be added on reorder once the style has proven itself.

Accepted Answer

Setup and tooling feesWe quote sampling and any optional services in advance, and the quotation itemizes the main cost elements: sample development, fabric and trims, cutting and sewing, decoration such as printing, embroidery or washing, labels and packaging, and shipping. There are no unexpected line items added later.Special requests are quoted separately because they involve real additional materials or processing time. Examples include custom hardware such as zippers and pulls, special wash stages, additional decoration placements, or bespoke packaging. Where an item involves tooling, we confirm the cost before production begins rather than after. If your budget is fixed, tell us the target and we will explain which specification choices bring the cost down without affecting the qualities your customers notice most, such as fabric weight, fit and finishing.Request a quotation for your design and we will list every element clearly before you commit. When comparing suppliers, ask each one for an itemized quotation rather than a single unit price. Side-by-side line items make it obvious whether a lower headline price excludes sampling, decoration or packaging, and that comparison is usually more valuable than the headline number alone.
